The following are the general rental conditions between CONCESIONARIOS DEL SUR SA, represented by the Concecamper brand and hereinafter referred to as the Rental Company, and the Lessee, identified by a valid driving license, hereinafter referred to as the Lessee, and is governed by all the general and special conditions described in these conditions, unless there is any exception or alteration in writing.
1. Conditions for vehicle collection
The Renter acknowledges having received the vehicle and any rented extras, with all legally required documents, in a clean condition and with all features in working order. The Renter will return the vehicle clean, with the same amount of fuel as at the time of pickup, and with all vehicle features functioning normally, as well as any additional accessories rented and accessories already included in the rental, on the date, time, and at the location specified in the Rental Agreement.
If these criteria are not met, the Renter will be charged an additional fee according to the Rental Company's price list. Any loss or damage to the vehicle, rented extras, equipment, or spare parts will be charged in full to the Renter according to the Rental Company's estimate or price list.
2. Collection instructions
The Renter must appear at the place, date and time agreed in this rental agreement to collect the vehicle.
The agreed deposit will be retained in the local currency (euros) at the time of delivery of the vehicle to guarantee the proper use and correct return of the vehicle, on the VISA/MasterCard credit or debit card.
The Renter must pay the total amount stated in the contract for the vehicle rental on the agreed date, and payment must be made before departure, by cash, credit card, certified bank check, or via the online platform through PayPal or Redsys, depending on the selected payment method. Important note: According to the Spanish Tax Agency, cash payments are not permitted for transactions of €1.000 or more (or its equivalent in foreign currency).
The Renter must bring the following documents to pick up the vehicle. All the documents listed below were presented when picking up the vehicle and signing this Rental Agreement.
The credit card used for the reservation deposit, if applicable (must be in the driver's name)
A valid ID for each driver of the vehicle
A valid European driver's license for each driver of the vehicle (if the license is in a foreign language, you will need to present an official translation). It is the Renter's responsibility to have a valid European driver's license.
If you are unable to present these documents on the day of delivery, or if you provide false or erroneous information, the vehicle cannot be rented. The vehicle will be treated as a no-show, and the reservation will not be refunded. You will be required to pay the remaining amount indicated in this Rental Agreement.
The Tenant represents and warrants that the documents shared with the Rental Company (and all information contained therein) are true, complete and valid, particularly with regard to the Tenant's address and country of residence.
The Renter must be of legal age and have a valid Type B driving license to rent any vehicle from the Rental Company.
The vehicle will be provided with a fuel level, and it is the Renter's responsibility to return it with the same fuel level as when picked up. Failure to do so may result in penalties.
The Lessee will conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle with the Rental Company upon departure to verify its condition on the day of pick-up, and will be given instructions on how to operate the camper conversion.
The vehicle must be returned clean inside and out. It must be returned in the same condition. Failure to comply with this rule may result in an additional cleaning fee.
Deliveries cannot be made on holidays, Saturdays, or Sundays as the facilities are closed.
3. Use of the Vehicle
During the rental period, the Lessee agrees to make proper use of the vehicle in such a way that:
1) The vehicle will not be driven by a person who is not listed as the driver in the Rental Agreement.
2) The vehicle will not be driven recklessly and dangerously
3) The vehicle shall not be driven by a person under the influence of alcohol or drugs
4) The vehicle will not be left with the key inside while it is unoccupied
5) The vehicle will not be damaged by immersion in water, contact with salt water, driving through flooded areas, driving on the beach or unpaved roads
5) The vehicle will not be used for any racing, competition, or any illegal activity
6) The vehicle will not be used to tow any vehicle
7) The vehicle will not be used to transport passengers or goods for hire or reward.
8) The vehicle shall not be used to transport a number of passengers exceeding the maximum capacity permitted by law.
9) The vehicle shall not be used to transport hazardous materials, volatile liquids, gases, explosives or other corrosive or flammable materials, apart from the gas supplied by the Rental Company
10) The vehicle will not be used for the purpose of transporting and hauling goods other than those that could reasonably be expected from a leisure rental
11) The vehicle will not be used to install accessories and advertising or commercial mentions
12) The vehicle will not be driven off-road, on closed roads or on roads unsuitable for the rented vehicle according to local laws and regulations
The Rental Company shall not be liable for any consequences, damages, losses, and/or other expenses arising from the Lessee's failure to act in accordance with the above-mentioned points.
The Renter acknowledges that the Rental Company retains title to the vehicle at all times and will not agree, attempt, offer or intend to sell, sublet, lend or mortgage the vehicle to any other party.
The Renter shall not make any modifications or additions to the vehicle without the prior written consent of the Rental Company.
The Renter will take all reasonable measures to properly maintain the vehicle, including daily inspection of the oil, water, and batteries, and will contact the Rental Company if the vehicle's warning lights indicate a possible malfunction.
The Lessee will receive operating instructions for each component of the van, including the battery, water pump, and control panels, upon delivery of the van.
The Renter is responsible for monitoring and obtaining information on weather forecasts and road conditions during their travels, as well as public warnings regarding them.
This Rental Agreement will be terminated immediately and the reservation cancelled without the need for legal intervention if the vehicle is used in a manner that constitutes a violation of this Rental Agreement or the commission of a crime. Furthermore, the Rental Company reserves the right to repossess the vehicle, with due justification, at any time without prior notice, and the Renter shall be responsible for all associated costs.
4. Insurance Coverage
- The rental vehicle is insured against third-party vehicles and property damage. The vehicle is only insured for the duration stipulated in the contract, and the Rental Company cannot be held liable for any damage outside the rental period; the Renter is solely responsible for any damage caused outside of this period.
- The renter has the option to reduce the insurance deductible by paying an extra fee stipulated at the time of booking.
- The insurance is valid in European countries, excluding the cities of Ceuta and Melilla. Vehicles may only be driven in European countries, and driving them in other countries outside of Europe or in the aforementioned cities constitutes a violation of this Rental Agreement. Therefore, the Rental Company is not liable for any damage, breakdowns, or other consequences that occur outside the countries where the insurance is valid. The Renter is responsible for the costs of repairing and/or transporting the vehicle, as well as any other administrative expenses, charges, fees, and fines incurred by the Rental Company as a result of such unauthorized use.
- The Renter is responsible for any damage that occurs during the rental period of the vehicle, taking into account the exclusions indicated in the following clause No. 6 “Responsibilities”.
- All insurance and deductible plan options only cover the first accident that triggers the insurance coverage for each rental. If more than one accident occurs during the rental period that triggers the insurance coverage, the Renter is responsible for the repair costs of each additional damage. To cover the costs of any potential damages, the Rental Company will hold the full amount of the security deposit on the credit/debit card associated with the Renter.
- If the Renter breaches any of the conditions described in the clauses of this contract, any insurance option chosen will be voided and the Renter will be solely responsible for the total cost of all damages.
- The insurance includes roadside assistance within the territories where the policy is valid, as previously mentioned. Within the assistance coverage, if the accident occurs within Spain, the insurance covers the costs related to the transfer of the occupants. However, if the accident occurs abroad, it only covers the costs associated with the transfer of the vehicle, not the passengers.
- The insurance does not cover any damage to headlights, side mirrors, or skylights.
- Vehicle tire insurance coverage covers accidental damage to a tire. The tire and tire replacement service are not included in the insurance.
- No insurance coverage is responsible for any damage done to the camper conversion or accessories or extras during the rental period.
5. Roadside assistance and technical issues
Any vehicle-related issues, including equipment failure, during the rental period must be reported immediately to the Rental Company, as it may be possible to rectify the problem during the rental period. Failure to report such an issue before calling for external roadside assistance voids the Rental Company's liability.
The Renter must contact the Rental Company before contacting an external roadside assistance company, as the Rental Company can assist the Renter with technical issues, and will not deploy its own employees to repair or replace the vehicle.
The Rental Company's assistance covers any technical or mechanical failure of the vehicle resulting from a manufacturing or material defect that renders the part in question unfit for operation during the warranty period.
The following occurrences are not covered by the Rental Company's assistance:
1)The vehicle has run out of fuel.
2) The keys have been locked inside the vehicle, have been damaged (for example, moisture on the key) or have been lost.
3) Discharged batteries caused by improper use and/or the misuse of any equipment that requires batteries to function.
4) The vehicle has become stuck off the road or on an unpaved road. 5) A breakdown caused by intentional negligence (e.g., driving off the road).
6) Assistance to change a flat tire. Towing or transport costs will be charged to the Renter.
7) The vehicle's insurance company offers 24-hour assistance, although some delays may occur outside of standard business hours.
In the event of any breakdown, the Renter is not authorized to make any repairs or alterations to the vehicle unless authorized by the Rental Company and following the exact instructions. For any breakdown that does not require immobilizing the vehicle and cannot be repaired on-site, the Renter must move the vehicle to a specific location indicated by the Rental Company.
In the event of an accident in which the Lessee is or is not responsible, the Rental Company is not required to provide a replacement vehicle.
In the event of vehicle immobilization due to mechanical breakdown or an accident, and if it cannot be repaired on-site, the Lessee must contact the vehicle's insurance company, whose information can be found inside the vehicle, so they can dispatch a tow truck to collect the vehicle.
6. responsibilities
The Lessor agrees to maintain a valid insurance policy covering the Lessor's liability for any bodily injury or property damage the vehicle may cause to third parties. Under no circumstances are goods, luggage, belongings, or any other items belonging to the Lessee and transported by them covered.
The Rental Company is not responsible for personal injury due to theft during the rental period and recommends that valuables not be left uncovered inside the vehicle while the Renter is away from the vehicle.
The Rental Company is not responsible for lost or stolen items during the rental period, nor for interior or exterior damage to the vehicle due to vandalism/theft, accidental damage, or weather-related causes.
The exclusions or limitations of liability of the Rental Company under this Rental Agreement will only apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
The deductible is the maximum amount for which the lessee will be liable in case of damage to the vehicle, except in certain cases, in which the lessee will be liable for up to the total cost of repairing the damage caused.
The lessee is responsible for all damage caused to the vehicle, up to the limit of the deductible amount plus the corresponding VAT (for each incident), except in the following cases where the lessee's responsibility extends to the full amount of the repair:
- The insurance does not cover any element or accessory of the camper conversion
- poor cleanliness of the camper (example: excess sand, mud stains, burns)
- dents in upper parts of the vehicle.
- Impacts to lower parts of the vehicle (for example: front axle, rear axle, differential, oil pan, gearbox, tanks, etc.)
- rollovers and/or running off the road.
- damage caused by refueling with unsuitable fuel.
- fire, engine seizure, or other damage resulting from leaving the vehicle idling
- Any damage to the vehicle caused by personal belongings transported inside the vehicle
- Damage caused by driving the vehicle due to lack of a driver's license or not being identified as the driver in this contract
- Any damage to the vehicle, when a clause of this Rental Agreement is breached
- Any damage caused by being intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, or any substance that reduces the ability to drive, or when alcohol detection tests performed after the accident on the driver of the vehicle result in a blood or breath alcohol level higher than that permitted by law.
- any loss/damage/theft of personal belongings
- If the Renter exhibits careless or negligent behavior of any kind or fails to comply with local road rules or the Rental Company's instructions, resulting in damage to the vehicle or third party property
- the cost of rescuing or removing the vehicle from any restricted, submerged, bogged down, trapped or abandoned area, unless caused by circumstances beyond the Lessee's control
- The cost of replacing keys that have been damaged, stolen, stolen, or locked inside the vehicle
- any costs associated with incorrect refueling of the clean water tank
- Theft of vehicle components (e.g., catalytic converters, display, refrigeration equipment, etc.) or camper conversion accessories (e.g., battery, water heater, gas cylinder, etc.)
- Blockages in drains caused by misuse (example: excess sand, mud or similar)
- Damage caused to doors, windows and skylights opened by gusts of wind, as well as to mosquito nets and blackout blinds.
- All damage below the side door lines or above the windshield line, if there is no collision with third parties
- The insurance does not include damage that the vehicle may suffer as a result of a traffic accident caused by hitting big game species in accordance with the Law on Traffic, Motor Vehicle Circulation and Road Safety.
- wind damage caused by a door blowing
7. Accidents and Damage to the Vehicle
In case of an accident with a third party,
- The renter must complete an accident report form with the insured's details and a description of any damage to the vehicle, using the insurance form stored in the vehicle's glove compartment. This form must be submitted within 48 hours, and the renter must also inform the police of any accident, theft, robbery, or other incident if necessary.
- The lessee must take photographs and obtain the names and addresses of all persons involved in the accident, as well as any witnesses who can document what happened.
- The renter will be responsible for collecting the accident report signed by all parties involved and the documents prepared by the police authorities, along with the vehicle keys (in case of vehicle theft) and will send it immediately to the Rental Company within a maximum of 48 hours.
Otherwise, all insurance and coverage will be void, and the Lessee will be responsible for all expenses that may arise.
8. Return instructions
The vehicle must be returned on the date, time and place specified in this Rental Agreement.
The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level and in the same clean condition as when it was picked up (free of trash, mud, sand, or any other type of residue), with the grey water tank emptied, the toilet clean and emptied, the kitchen utensils clean, and the refrigerator empty and turned off. Any failure to comply with the above will result in an additional penalty of €50 to cover the cost of cleaning each area not cleaned/emptied.
Any loss or damage to the vehicle, rented extras, equipment or spare parts will be charged in full to the Renter according to the replacement cost administered by the Rental Company.
If the Renter wishes to change the vehicle return time, they must notify the Rental Company at least two hours before the new return time, and the Rental Company must provide prior written authorization. If the Rental Company does not confirm the change in the vehicle return time by email, the Renter must adhere to the return time and date specified in the contract.
If the Renter does not obtain authorization from the Rental Company for the return of the vehicle outside of the hours previously agreed in the Rental Agreement, it will result in an extra charge of €50 (euros), which will be immediately deducted from the deposit.
In the event of a delay due to force majeure (accident, traffic jams, etc.) in returning the vehicle, a grace period of up to two hours will be allowed free of charge, provided two hours' notice is given. If the delay exceeds two hours, or if it is less than two hours but no prior notice has been given, the Renter will be charged a €50 late fee, which will be deducted from the security deposit.
If the Renter does not return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at pickup, the Renter must pay for the missing liters of fuel plus the logistics of filling the vehicle.
Returns can be made on Sundays, public holidays, and Saturdays with a €20 surcharge to cover the security company's handling of opening and closing the dealership, as these are outside of the rental company's business hours. The rental company's staff will inspect the vehicle on the next business day.
The Lessor shall not be entitled to any compensation if, due to force majeure or fortuitous event, the vehicle cannot be delivered on the agreed day.
9. Pets
Traveling with a pet is not permitted without the express written consent of the Rental Company and subject to an additional fee. The pet transport fee only applies if the pet weighs less than 30 kg. This fee covers only the cleaning and disinfection of the vehicle after the rental. The Renter is responsible for all damage caused by the pet to the interior and exterior of the vehicle. It is the Renter's sole responsibility to ensure that the pet travels safely and in accordance with local regulations. The Rental Company will not be liable for traffic fines or legal expenses incurred due to the presence of the animal in the vehicle.
10. Gas policy
The Rental Company will deliver the vehicle at the time of check-in with a gas cylinder with a variable gas level.
Additional gas bottles or spare parts may be purchased during the rental period at the Renter's expense.
Different gas cylinders and fittings exist in different countries, and an adapter may be required for refilling. Please note that the supplied gas cylinders must not be exchanged for foreign ones; otherwise, a fee will apply.
11. AdBlue Policy
AdBlue is a diesel exhaust fluid required in modern diesel vehicles. All models that require AdBlue are identified by an AdBlue tank, located next to the fuel tank. As with the fuel level, the vehicle's dashboard indicates if the AdBlue level is low.
The vehicle is delivered with more than the minimum AdBlue level for circulation (without the AdBlue lights on) and must be returned in the same condition; otherwise, a refueling fee will be applied.
During the rental period, the Renter is responsible for ensuring the vehicle always has sufficient fuel and AdBlue to operate without damaging the engine. Additional AdBlue can be purchased at any service station during the rental period at the Renter's expense. The Rental Company will not reimburse the Renter for any AdBlue costs upon return of the vehicle.
12. Mileage Policy
The renter will be charged €0,40 for each additional kilometer exceeding the limit during the rental period. Kilometers are cumulative within the reservation.
Mileage included in the rate depending on the season.
- High season: 320km/day (June 1 to September 06)
- Mid-season: 300km/day (April 1st to May 31st – September 15th to October 31st)
- Special dates (Easter and Christmas): 300km/day
- Low season (1/11 to 23/12 – 8/01 to 31/03): 200km/day
13. Deposit and post-rental payments
Upon delivery of the vehicle, the Renter must pay the agreed deposit in the local currency (euros) to guarantee the proper use and correct return of the vehicle, using the VISA/MasterCard credit or debit card.
The deposit can only be paid by credit/debit card (Visa, AMEX, or MasterCard), and the cardholder must be present at the collection. Only debit cards that allow for a hold deposit will be accepted. We will not accept any type of card transaction for a deposit. We recommend checking with your issuing bank to see if your debit card allows for a hold deposit.
If the deposit amount is not authorized by the bank or the credit/debit card holder, this Rental Agreement cannot be executed and the vehicle cannot be delivered. In this case, the standard cancellation policy will apply, and the Renter will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
The deposit will be returned to the Renter at the end of the rental period using the same payment method used, provided the Rental Company employee confirms that the vehicle is in the same condition as when it was returned.
Vehicle damage and expenses for damage to equipment/extras will be charged based on a budget justified by the Rental Company.
In the event of an accident for which the Renter is not held responsible, the Rental Company will retain the full amount of the deposit until the insurance company declares liability.
If the costs of repairing the damage cannot be determined immediately, the Rental Company will retain the full amount of the deposit.
The Renter agrees that the Rental Company is authorized to charge the registered credit/debit card for any additional charges that may arise, such as parking fines, penalties, traffic violations, tolls, damage to the vehicle (interior or exterior), and outstanding amounts, for which the Renter is solely responsible. The Rental Company has the right to verify any damage to the vehicle for 30 days after the last day of the Rental Agreement. If the Rental Company is notified or contacted by any private or public administrative entity due to the Renter's conduct, the Rental Company will charge the Renter an administrative fee for each specific case.
1) €25 (euros) if only the identification of the Lessee/driver is legally required (an exceptional reduced rate of €15 (euros) may be applied to toll entities with which there is an established protocol) or
2) an administrative fee of €50 (euros) if the Rental Company has to legally make any payment on behalf of the Tenant or file any objection/appeal, without prejudice to the Tenant's full return to the Rental Company of the amounts paid by the Rental Company arising from or aggravated by the Tenant's behavior.
The Renter shall make available to the Rental Company an alternative credit/debit card, with which it may fulfill the Renter's obligations under the Rental Company's Terms and Conditions, in case of insufficient funds, rejection of transactions for any reason and cancellation or suspension of the credit/debit card.
All unpaid invoices will be charged interest at the highest statutory rate plus a fixed fee of 20% of the unpaid amount and any compensation for damages/loss of profits due by law. In the event of a legal dispute related in any way to this contract, the parties agree that the jurisdiction of the pick-up location will apply. In the event of a complaint regarding this Rental Agreement, the Renter must contact the Rental Company. The European Commission offers an online dispute resolution platform, which can be accessed at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. The Rental Company is not required to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. If the parties fail to reach an amicable out-of-court settlement, all disputes will be submitted to the competent court of the applicable jurisdiction.
14. Cancellation and Change Policies
The Renter can cancel or modify their reservation up to 15 days before the start of their rental. After that date, no modifications or cancellations will be accepted, and the Renter will lose 100% of the reservation amount and the right to the entire service if they fail to pick up the vehicle on the agreed date and time.
If you cancel more than 15 days before the pick-up date, the Renter will be entitled to use the voucher for the value of the deposit paid for one year. This policy does not apply to prize draws, gift packages, or rentals during peak season.
The Renter may make one date change, subject to availability on the chosen dates and after consulting with the Rental Company. If you wish to change the reservation, you must do so one month in advance. The deposit will not be refunded; it will be retained as a voucher to be used on the new reserved date. Changes are not permitted within one month of the arrival date.
Gift packs and prizes in raffles are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
If the Renter does not show up to collect the vehicle at the established time, they will lose 100% of the reservation amount and the right to the entire service as a penalty.
15. Customer Agreement
This agreement constitutes the entire arrangement between the parties, and there are no other commitments, warranties, or verbal agreements between them. Any charges are calculated in accordance with the Rental Agreement and the applicable Terms and Conditions. By making the reservation and paying the first installment, the Renter voluntarily accepted the Rental Company's Terms and Conditions. The Renter warrants that all information provided in connection with this Rental Agreement is truthful. This Rental Agreement may only be assigned to a third party with the written consent of both parties. Any damage not mentioned in this Rental Agreement will be assessed upon return of the property.
16. Additional conditions

- The Renter has inspected the vehicle and its facilities before receiving it and proceeding to payment and acknowledges receiving them to their full satisfaction, therefore, the breakdown of the vehicle or the malfunction of the equipment during the rental will not give the right to any compensation, refund or discount.
- Any accident, collision, or damage affecting the vehicle, regardless of its severity, must be reported by the Renter to the Rental Company within 24-48 hours of its occurrence. Failure to do so will result in the Renter being subject to the insurance company's decision, and the Renter will be liable for any damages the Rental Company may incur. If the incident prevents the continued use of the vehicle, the rental agreement will be automatically terminated without any right to a refund from the Rental Company of the deposit or for the remaining days of the rental agreement.
